অস্তিত্ত, সেতো এক বিবর্ন মরিচিকা 
হাজারো অশ্রু স্রোতে তোমার অস্তিত্ত খুজেছি
খুজেছি সুবর্ন বটপির সারিতে,
খুজেছি অজস্র কাকলির বিনম্র ধনিতে
হায় অস্তিত্ত, সেতো এক বিবর্ন মরিচিকা --


ভালোবাসার নিগুঢ় সৌন্দর্য কখনো কী তোমায় ম্লাণ করেছে?
নাকি কখনো বুঝতেই চেষ্টা করনি সেটী কী?
আমিতো কখনই তোমায় আপ্লুতো করিনি  সীয় কষ্টের সীমায়
তবুও এই মন আজও কেন খোজ়ে?
খোজ়ে সেই অস্তিত্ত  যা বিবর্ন মরিচিকা --


আমিতো ভালবাসার নদী কে সাগরে রুপদান করেছিলাম
সেই নদী , যা মিশেছে তোমার আবেগের সীমায়,
বাধাহীন, ক্লেশহীন, প্রত্যাশার পালকিতে যাত্রা করেছে এই মন
এই হৃদয়, এই সপ্নের কুটির -
তবু কেন, এই হৃদয় খোজে সেই অস্তিত্ত
যা এক বিবর্ন মরিচিকা--


অভিমানের যায়গায় তুমি ছিলে আপোষহীন,
মনের মাঝে লুকিয়ে থাকা সুপ্ত প্রাপ্তির যায়গা গুলো ছিলো,
শুধুই বহিঃপ্রকাশের নির্মল আনন্দ,
সুখের সংগা গুলো তুমি যেভাবে আমার হৃদয় এ
বপন করেছিলে , তা এ হৃদয় পরশ পাথরের ন্যায় লালন করেছে।
কিন্তু আজ যখন সুখের সংগা ভুলে যাচ্ছি
তখন এই হৃদয় আবারো খোজ়ে সেই অস্তিত্ত-
যা এখন এক বিবর্ন মরিচিকা ।

BMW Announces Nearly $900 Million Investment, Adding 300 jobs at its South Carolina Plant in 2012

BMW announced today that the company will invest nearly $900 million U.S. dollars and add 300 new jobs in 2012 in its South Carolina plant. This announcement was made during a ceremony to commemorate a major production milestone – 2,000,000 vehicles have rolled off the assembly line since the company began U.S. production in 1994.Frank-Peter Arndt, BMW Group Board Member responsible for Production, revealed the company's intention to expand its X-model family. He revealed that production of the new BMW X4 will occur at the Spartanburg plant, spurring significant investment and job creation necessary to prepare the facility for the new model.

"I am delighted to announce today, over the next three years, we plan to invest nearly $900 million U.S. dollars. With this investment, we will be able to produce 350,000 units here in the mid-term," said Arndt. "This is one reaction to the rising global demand for our BMW X Models."

Governor Nikki Haley spoke at the ceremony saying, "BMW has once again provided tremendous evidence that South Carolina is a blueprint for significant economic development success. The partnership between this company and our state is an enduring example of how to attract, retain and grow business to stimulate perpetual job creation."

"Two million vehicles have prepared our team well to meet the new opportunities that lie ahead for our plant. We look forward to a new model with great anticipation. For nearly 20 years, this team has always proven their steadfast commitment to producing quality vehicles for our customers around the world," remarked Josef Kerscher, President of BMW Manufacturing.

"I am thrilled to celebrate the two millionth BMW today," said Bobby Hitt, Secretary of Commerce for South Carolina. New Ferrari to be launched on 3 February

Madonna di Campiglio, 11 January –The car with which Ferrari will tackle the 2012 Formula 1 World Championship will be presented to the media and the team partners at the Fiorano track on 3 February. The announcement was made this morning by Scuderia Team Principal, Stefano Domenicali, during a press conference at Wrooom, the event that kicks off the Prancing Horse’s race season. 

“As has been the case for many years now it will be a very conventional ceremony,” said Domenicali. “If the weather is good enough, right from the afternoon of the third, or more likely the following day, the car will run at Fiorano to fulfill some promotional obligations, before tackling its first real test at Jerez de la Frontera on 7 February.”

ছবি সম্পাদনার সফটওয়্যার ফটোশপ সিএস৬ নিয়ে একটি ভিডিও প্রকাশ করেছে অ্যাডোবি সিস্টেমস ইনকরপোরেশন। সিএস৬-এর ফিচারগুলোর তথ্য জানাতেই ‘স্নিক পিক #১’ শিরোনামে ইউটিউবে ভিডিওটি পোস্ট করেছে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি।
ফটোশপের অফিশিয়াল অ্যাকাউন্ট থেকে প্রকাশিত এ ভিডিওতে অ্যাডোবির সিনিয়র প্রোডাক্ট ম্যানেজার ব্রায়ান ও’নিল হাগিস সিএস৬-এর ‘ক্যামেরা র ৭’ নিয়ে কিছু কাজ দেখিয়েছেন। তিনি কিছু টুল ব্যবহার করে কম আলোয় তোলা আইফেল টাওয়ারের একটি ছবি এডিট করে দেখান। এ টুলগুলো নতুনভাবে যোগ হচ্ছে সিএস ৬-এ।
‘ডার্ক ইন্টারফেস’, ‘রিচ কারসর সাপোর্ট’-এর মতো বেশকিছু নতুন ফিচারের সঙ্গেও পরিচয় করিয়ে দিয়েছেন তিনি।

হেলে পড়েছে তাজমহলের মিনার

সপ্তাশ্চর্যের অন্যতম স্থাপত্য ভারতের তাজমহলের একটি মিনার হেলে পড়েছে। তাজমহলের পাশে বয়ে যাওয়া যমুনা নদী শুকিয়ে যাওয়ার কারণেই এমনটা হয়েছে বলে মন্তব্য করছেন বিশেষজ্ঞরা। আর্কিওলজিক্যাল সার্ভে অব ইন্ডিয়ার এক লিখিত বিবৃতিতে বলা হয়েছে, তাজমহলের দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিম কোণের মিনারটি গত তিন দশকে ধীরে ধীরে ৩ দশমিক ৫৭ সেন্টিমিটার হেলে পড়েছে। ভারতের আগ্রার যমুনা নদীর তীরে তাজমহল নির্মিত হয়। তবে যমুনা এখন নদী শুকিয়ে যাচ্ছে।

আগ্রা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পরিবেশ বিভাগের অধ্যাপক কে এস রানা বলেন, নদীতে পানির পরিমাণ কমে যাওয়ায় তাজমহলের এই হাল হয়েছে। তিনি আরও বলেন, ‘নদীতে পানির ঘাটতি হলে তাজমহলের ওপর টান পড়ে। এটা প্রাকৃতিক বিষয়। আর এই টানের কারণে তাজমহলে বিভিন্ন ফাটল বা মিনার হেলে পড়ার মতো অবস্থা সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। তাজমহল ভবনটি টিকে থাকার জন্য তার চারদিকে স্থাপিত চারটি মিনার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখে। মিনারগুলো তাজমহলের ওজনের ভারসাম্য রক্ষা করে।’ 

মুঘল সম্রাট শাহজাহানের স্ত্রী মমতাজের স্মৃতিরক্ষার্থে নির্মিত এই স্মৃতিসৌধের ভিত্তি নির্মাণ করা হয় সেগুন কাঠ দিয়ে। টেকসই রাখার জন্য এই কাঠকে আর্দ্র রাখতে হয়। কিন্তু নদীর পানি শুকিয়ে যাওয়ার কারণে তা সম্ভব হচ্ছে না। যদিও প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক জরিপে বলা হচ্ছে, মিনারগুলোর উচ্চতায় খুব একটা পরিবর্তন লক্ষ করা যাচ্ছে না। তার পরও পারিপার্শ্বিক পরিবেশের ওপর নির্ভর করছে বিখ্যাত এই মুঘল স্থাপত্য।
